I wasn't all that pleased with this card either, as I really don't seem to have the right sort of stamps. I ended up using the large rose from The Sweet Life... here it is. Very hectic colours which I really don't like at all but it gave me a chance to see which colours work best. I really like the pale buff colour and may try again, using that as a more monochromatic base colour...I used both PTI and distress inks, a range of pens. I also added white from a fine white pental pen, plus some gold on the leaves to accentuate the veining and add a little gleam.
That's it from me for today...I have re-enrolled for the uni course and so study time is now added to my daily agenda, along with all the rest of it. It is so nice to be feeling able to do small tasks around the house, engage more with all the daily minutiae That I have been separated from for so long. However, I am still very slow at tasks and have to keep reminding myself that slowly slowly is the best course.
Bye for now,
Di
