This is my first card, I cut the "happy" from "Pretty Peonies"out from Neenah Solar White card stock and inlaid it. The really nice thing is I also have a very colourful "happy" to use on a plain white card...win, win.
I have been interested to see how many cards in the challenge are going for a much softer more subtle look, so I'm keen to try that next...I think I need a baby card soon...
I was using up the last of the pinstripe background panels that I made to imitate the cupcake papers for a previous challenge entry as the colour was good. I had to cut the tree on an angle to make it fit the paper and then I used all the little scraps left over to cut out the hearts...don't like to waste things :)
The little blue bird is from PTI Trendy Tree Tops, so legitimate enough, just, for this post I think....I'm quite pleased with this one, although I'm not entirely sure why...maybe I need to go off on a self discovery tangent, work out what makes me happy...(thinks for a nano second)...OK...no, maybe not! Just be oh so grateful for what one has, that's my credo, despite the knee! :)
