Well, moving on, I want to make her a special card...I always want to do that and I have to think hard, search through my card records on the computer, to make sure I haven't made her something similar in the past, always a risk when you know someone well, and also have fav. ways of addressing events!
I hadn't tried the SVG Cuts Afternoon Tea box card, I had some pretty papers out and so I thought, even though I had reservations about the outcome, "why not?"...This is how it turned out...definitely NOT for Edith!
Well, I thought it over and fell back on this old standby...I love doing metallic paint resists with DI's...
I was going to use the sister quote " I smile because I am your sister, and laugh because there is nothing you can do about it..." then I remembered that I had used that one several years ago and I must have used it for her because she is the only sister I have...then I thought of a couple of cute but insightful quotes from AA Milne but decided to go with a more sisterly bluntness quote assigned to Liz Taylor, with the additional line added by me! I thought this was more age appropriate! ;)
I also intend to start adding some freebie FCM or SVG files...I need to get a bit smarter in using Inkscape and so I might as well share any files I make with a heretofore, (I always wanted to write that), unsuspecting world.
