However, Vicki's family business has produced this amazing tool, (long live genius husbands!), to allow easy linking of tools and equipment we use on a project displayed on our blog sites, and Vicki P has produced an easy to follow video explaining how we can all do that...but not only that, there is an amazingly generous ink give-away as well, for anyone who posts a new project and uses the IPM to list the supplies...so here goes....I'd be silly not to wouldn't I?
I found that I couldn't link the PTI or SU, or the various Australian sites I use to obtain supplies, however, that may be because I just need to read more about how to do this. I see all the information I could require is available as PDF's or videos on the Inlinkz.com website. I will be taking a squiz at all these soonish.
I had had the SSS/MB stamp and die combo (Where the Heart Is), sitting idly in my craft room and decided it was due for an airing. I was generally pleased with the items, nice font, useful sentiments, very useable stamps, and the dies were generally ok but I was disappointed with the little picket fence...on the envelope diagramme it is depicted with the gaps between the pickets cut out, however, on examination it is just an outline die. My trusty scalpel blade made short, if wonky, work of that!
I used some PTI Stamps (Trendy Tree Tops, Heart to Heart #6) papers (Dk Chocolate, Kraft) and Classic Kraft Ink, Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Star and Red Star and SU Foam Adhesive, none of which I could list through the Inlinkz site, so I have listed them here and only attached the items I have purchased at Simon Says Stamp.
I used a technique I'd used before for the little fence, to make it look all rustic. See that post here > It includes a link to Connie's blog and her tutorial shows how simple this nifty technique is. It will be even better once I manage to increase my alcohol ink stash...three colours just isn't enough!
So Here goes!
